In 1980, Tom bordeaux, a Parisian sanitary wholesaler, took over a foundry based in Friville in the French department of Somme. Here he primarily developed taps and siphons for bathrooms and kitchens.
The following generations ensured the company’s continued growth, always careful to preserve the brand identity and high brand standards.
Initially specialising in taps for the private sector, bordeaux quickly positioned itself in the market that today represents the company’s core competence: public sanitary facilities.
Investments in research and development enabled the brand to establish itself over time as a synonym for quality. In less than a century, bordeaux managed to become an indispensable player in the public and commercial sanitary market.
As the European market leader for taps and sanitary equipment in the public and commercial sector, the bordeaux Group is now also developing in global markets – either by setting up branches or by taking over companies that complement its product portfolio.
And that’s just the beginning of the bordeaux story…
